Our exhibit this year will be held at the Creative Arts Workshop from August 25th to October 4th. The judge for this exhibit is Nathan Lewis, an award winning artist, educator and chairman of the Department of Art and Design at Sacred Heart University. Awards Judge, Florin Ion Firimita, International Fine Artist, Educator, and Author chose five artists that exhibited exceptional works at our 2024 Members Exhibit to be in our Select Members Exhibit during the year, online and to have a physical exhibit at the Lyme Art Association July 25th through August 16th. A reception will be held on Saturday, August 2nd from 5-7 pm.
Artists chosen for this Selected Members Show in 2025 are Aspasia Anos, Jill Abele Butcher, William Butcher, Frank Bruckmann and Heidi Harrington. To see some of the work by these artists, go to Selected Artists on our website.

Enduring Creativity: Celebrating 125 Years of the New Haven Paint & Clay Club

The exhibition will feature over 50 works of art and objects drawn from the Club’s significant permanent collection and archives. Included works will span the years from the Club’s inception through today. Founded in 1900, the New Haven Paint & Clay Club is one of New England’s oldest, continuously active, arts organizations, and the oldest in Connecticut.

Announcing the NHP&CC 2025 124th Juried Exhibit /
The 124th Juried Exhibit will be held from March 31st through April 26th, 2025 at the Creative Arts Workshop.
The Juror will be Stephanie M. Heydt, PhD, New Britain Museum of American Art.
Reception to be held on Sunday, April 6th from 1-3 pm.
Drop off will be Friday, March 28th from 3-5 pm and Saturday, March 29th from 9-12 pm. Pick up will be on Friday April 25th from 3-5 pm and Saturday, April 26th from 10-12 pm.
*Audubon Street will be closed to traffic on Saturday, March 29th due to a market festival. Please try to drop off Friday if possible or early Saturday.
NHP&CC winter Show at the Zahn Gallery /
The NHP&CC will have a winter Show at the Zahn Gallery at Middlesex Hospital from December 9th through February 28th. A reception will be held on December 11th from 5-6:30 pm. The art pieces in this show are priced just right for holiday shoppers to buy something special for someone or themselves!

The annual fall Active Members Exhibit is currently scheduled for this coming August and September at the Silpe Gallery at the University of Hartford, 200 Bloomfield Avenue Hartford, West Hartford, CT 06117. The juror will be Florin Ion Firimita. Drop off on August 17th from 1-3 pm and the 18th from 10-12 pm. Reception is September 7th from 1-3 pm. Pick up is Friday, September 27th 3-5 pm and Saturday, September 28th 10 am -12 noon, The exhibit will run from August 19th to September 27th. The prospectus will be emailed to all members. New Haven Paint and Clay Club 2023 Selected Members Exhibition /
The New Haven Paint and Clay Club announce their 2023 Selected Members Exhibition, an event that showcases artists who were specially selected from our Annual Juried Exhibition by juror, Kate Henderson. Included in this exhibition are Peggy Bekeny, Katya Lebrija, Ruth Sack, Anita Soos and Rosemary McClain. The exhibit will be held at the Lyme Art Association, 90 Lyme Street, Old Lyme, CT 06371. The exhibit will run from Wednesday, July 19th through Thursday, August 10th. A reception will take place Sunday, July 23rd from 1-3 pm.
